England win at Trent Bridge by 14 runs!

James Anderson is man of the match after taking all four Australian wickets to fall on the final day, to finish with ten in the match. It was a nail biting finish, with a review needed for England to capture the wicket of Brad Haddin. You can listen to the final delivery here. The second Test begins at Lord’s on Thursday.

The brilliant Duckworth Lewis Method – complete with Barmy Army trumpeter Billy Cooper and their live rapper Henry Blofeld, provided the entertainment in the commentary box during the third day. McFly’s Harry Judd talked cricket and dancing, and Gemma Broad of life as Stuart’s sister, her job as England’s analyst and The Broad Appeal. Our excellent View from the Boundary guest was actor Rafe Spall.

On the first morning Lesley Garrett sang the National Anthems with great gusto and the Red Arrows provided a colourful flypast.
